Wheat

from Wheat by Jonathan Hape

/

about

Musics and vocalizations (some words) written recorded performed mixed and mastered by Jonathan Hape aside from the wonderful piano, clarinet, and saxophone work by Robert Fain.
If not recorded at a home it was at National Audio Preservation Society in Newark OH.

lyrics

If I die in a dream it doesn't mean it will be so
But all impending dread of my death would just grow
And if I try and look away then I'm unable to be shown
All the height the depth the weight will remain to me unknown

But some mice get caught even though they thought "I finally got away"
Our end is coming to find us soon enough
Then why waste our lives thinking about the time "we'll all just fly away"
When it is better spent defining the rind and fruit as one
